Abstract

This study discusses the condition of road infrastructure in the Teluk Nibung Area, Tanjungbalai City and its influence on local economic growth. Road infrastructure that is not optimal is caused by various factors such as budget limitations, suboptimal construction quality, and environmental challenges. Poor road conditions have a negative impact on the distribution of goods, logistics costs, investment, and community mobility. To encourage economic growth, the strategy to improve road infrastructure needs to be focused on needs-based planning, improving the quality of development, developing drainage systems, optimizing financing, and integrating with regional plans. With the right strategy, road infrastructure improvements are expected to be the main driver of economic growth in the Nibung Bay Area.
